This spectacular night light has been very delicately tubelined by experts to create the appearance of cloisonné (see below). This is a fantastic opportunity to own a beautiful piece of craftmanship. The technique: There are three steps involved in the production of each exquisite piece, First the imagery is sketched onto the raw bisque and then the slip trailing (raised line work) is carefully applied. Next comes the initial firing, then the painting is done and a second firing takes place. The item is then dipped in a glaze solution. Left to dry for a few hours, it is then put through a third and final firing. The result is a beautiful and rich finish with a brilliant glaze.
