A self-taught artist, Romero Britto (1963-) was born in Recife, Brazil. He rose to popularity with his Neo-Pop style compositions, skillfully balanced colorful patterns and bold black outlines. He combines techniques of Pop Art with Cubism, creating small personal stories with his art. His work remains exciting & continues to change, challenging artistic boundaries.His original artwork, dubbed the art of healing, brings together bright colors and playful themes with compositional elements of cubism. Britto's belief that art is in constant evolution is one of the key hallmarks of his work. His artwork conveys an honesty that reflects his desire to use colors which exude happiness.
